Heat and battery
How long does the battery last?
Up to 8 hours on low and 3.5 hours on high for the Benchies Seat. The Seat with Back runs 7 hours on low and 3 on high. The Heated Blanket runs 9 hours on low. Cold weather shortens these by roughly 10–15% below 20°F.
How hot does it actually get?
Three levels: 105°F, 120°F and 135°F at the surface. Level one is about the temperature of a warm hand. Level three is noticeably hot through a pair of jeans and most people never use it.
How long does charging take?
About 4 hours from empty with any USB-C charger of 18W or more. A standard phone charger works. The four indicator dots tell you where it is.
Can I use it while it charges?
Yes. Pass-through charging is supported, so you can run it off a power bank in your bag for an entire tournament.
Does the battery come with it?
Yes, every seat and blanket ships with its battery and a USB-C cable. You supply the wall plug.
Can I fly with it?
Yes. All our batteries are under the 100Wh airline limit. Batteries must go in carry-on, never checked luggage — that is an airline rule, not ours.
Is there an auto-off?
The seats shut off after 6 hours of continuous use, the blankets after 4. Press the button again to restart.
Fit and use
Will it fit my bleachers?
The seat is 16 inches wide by 14 deep, which fits standard aluminium bleachers, stadium seats, folding chairs and most benches. The Seat with Back adds a 17-inch upright.
Does it slide around?
There is a silicone grip strip across the underside. On smooth painted aluminium it stays put; on wet metal it will move a little if you shift hard.
Can it get wet?
The shell is water-resistant and will shrug off snow, drizzle and a wet bench. It is not waterproof — do not submerge it, and do not leave it out in a downpour overnight.
Can I use it in a deer stand or ice house?
Plenty of people do. It is quiet, there is no fan, and the heat is steady. The matte black finish is the usual pick.
Is it safe to sit on for hours?
Yes. The heating layer is limited by hardware to 135°F and there is a thermal cutoff on top of that. We would still say what every manufacturer says: do not sleep on it, and keep it away from anyone who cannot feel heat properly.
How do I clean it?
Seats are spot clean — remove the battery, use a damp cloth and mild soap. The blankets are machine washable cold once the battery and controller are out.
Orders and shipping
How fast do orders ship?
Orders placed before 2pm CT on a business day leave our Minneapolis warehouse the same day. Standard delivery is 3–5 business days, express is 2.
Do you ship outside the US?
We ship to the US and Canada. Canadian orders take 5–9 business days and duties are calculated at checkout. We do not currently ship elsewhere, mostly because of battery transport rules.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes, free, from 1420 Winter St NE in Minneapolis. Pick the pickup option at checkout and we will email you when it is ready, usually within two hours.
Can I change or cancel an order?
If it has not shipped, yes — email us within an hour or two and we will catch it. After it ships, use the returns process instead.
Do you do team or bulk orders?
Yes. Ten units or more gets a discount and we can print a team logo on the blanket. Email us and we will quote it.
Returns and warranty
Can I return it?
Within 45 days, used or not. We email you a prepaid label and refund in full once it arrives. You do not need the original box.
What if it breaks?
The 2-year warranty covers heating elements, batteries, controllers, wiring and seams. We repair or replace, our choice, at no cost. Normal fabric wear and damage from misuse are not covered.
My battery holds less charge than it used to.
Lithium batteries fade. If yours drops below 70% of rated capacity inside two years, that counts as a warranty fault and we will replace it.
Do gift cards expire?
No, and no fees come off the balance.
